Humble Beginnings
In 1969 and in their “spare time,” Jim and his wife Valerie started a carpet cleaning business. Run from their home, and dedicated exclusively to serving the rental market, the business quickly became a success. The boys still look back fondly on the memory of their mother preparing dinner with one hand and speaking on the phone with an apartment manager with the other.
They understood that in the Rental Market, low prices were just one of the many ways a vendor could contribute to their client’s bottom line. Prompt service, reliable scheduling and quality workmanship were just as important. Outstanding and reliable customer service is an absolute must. The determination to assist our clients in any way we can still drives everyone at Jim’s Floor Covering.
Growth Through the Decades
As a natural evolution in serving the needs of our clients, carpet cleaning turned into carpet replacement. Soon, various types of flooring were added to the growing list of products and services offered by the company.
